The REC-O:GNIZER had the unique opportunity for three shows within one week.
First stop was the renowned Soul Gallen installment, a monthly party in St. Gallen's beautifully restored Palace, a former movie theatre. Here, DJs Jean Delmotte, Soulsonic a/k/a Herr Wempe & Sonoflono put on rare grooves all night long, together with gorgeous images of 60s label art.
November 21st was the date for a Spin Club Lucerne Special, where the stately old movie theater Madeleine saw the combined audio-visual delicacies of Swiss-German DJs Henning Boogaloo, Emel Ilter, Soulsonic a/k/a Herr Wempe & Sonoflono.
The next night this English week was topped off by the wonderful Kraftfeld location in Switzerland's photography capital Winterthur. The Fillet Of Soul night drew a great dancing crowd and the projected label images fit right in with the industrial looks of the venue.
Another 45 rpm label art smorgasbord for the connaisseur - many thanks to the Soul Gallen and Palace Teams and audiences, DJ Soulsonic a/k/a Herr Wempe and Jean Delmotte!
